Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poes Murder in the Rue Morgue Collector's Edition App Reviews

E.A.Poe is one of my favourite authors and this game has a good similarity with Poes novel. I LOVED it thanks to the gorgeous locations, graphics and puzzles (maybe, it was just a bit short). I hope to enjoy new BugFish Poe-inspired games soon!

For some reason Im forced to write a review before the end so what I can say thus far is that I like the game.

Normally your games are great but its no fun if you have to have in ear buds 2 play.... Fix this problem & Ill increase my rating.....

I played this game on iPhone 4 and now enjoy game again on iPhone 6s Plus.

I really wanted to enjoy this game and some of it was good. what I didnt like was the times I tapped an item and it wasnt recognized and when i hit the hint it showed the item i tapped. and the constant reminders to rate the game WHILE i was playing it!! really?!? i leave my review AFTER Ive played the full game!! i paid for it, let me play it..... that being said. i would hope the developers really listen to the consumers and fix these issues!

Have played the full version before and it was a great game but when I redownloaded it to play on iphone 6 it will not get past loading screen.

Been playing this for a week or so, bought the full version and now it doesnt work with IOS 10. Shows the loading screens, then goes blank. All you get is the background music. Please fix it and Ill give it 5 stars! Update: I reported it to Bigfish and they sent a link for things to do, that I already have done. Problem is that the game hasnt been updated in 5 YEARS!! My guess is that it wont be anytime soon either! Update 2: Been waiting a month now for Apple to "contact me within 3 days" or whatever it is. Big fish cant do refunds because it was purchased from Apple. Apple apparently doesnt care because (see above)

This wont even open. The screen is just black with music playing but screen stays black.

Its a great point and click game.

Love this game

A little hard to see some of the details on an iPhone but not impossible. Easy story line to follow and had no trouble picking it up of putting it down. If there is a sequel, Id play it.

The game has great pacing, detailed graphics, and enough activities to keep players interested and entertained. I hope to play many more Poe games!

Havent bought the full version yet, but Im thinking about it since I really like hos games and love EAP

This game was very good. Kind of easy, but still fun!! Would like to see longer games with slightly more challenging puzzles. Love the story lines of the games.

Fantastic. Storyline interesting - puzzles challenging but not overly genius and graphics beautiful - bring on part two!
